Default Front End Alignment

I have to do a Front end alignment on my '00 250 2x4, and I was just wondering if the wheels should be towed in slightly or perfectly straight.
Thanks

I don't have my manual for my 2003 Cat yet, but my 2000 had a 1/4" tow in per side for a total differance of 1/2" between back and front. My 2003 is towed out by about a 1/4" and I don't know if this is correct until I get my new repair manual.

Cheers Jim

I may have this wrong but i dont think so.

For a 2X4 you want just a touch of toe-in to help with higher speed stability.

For a 4X4 you want just a touch of toe-out to help with steering ease.

Cat500I, that makes sense to me as my new 500I steers way easier than my 2000 400. Both bike were/are 4x4. Themanual definetly showed the 400 4x4 as having toe in though.

Thanks Jim
