Looked at the 2 seater AC500 today at the dealership, man is that thing ugly. It's long and the rear seat is huge!! I just don't see the point unless both people ridin are too big to be ridin. It sounded like a good idea but I would never buy one after looking at one.

Cat500i: Get your eyes fixed man!! lol (hehe) I think the new 2up looks really great. And NO I'm not too big to ride and either is my wife. It wuld be really nice to have her along though and she wouldn't ride otherwise. She doesn't drive and would just go for the ride to enjoy the scenery.

How do you like your 28" laws. Have you ever seen/compared them to the Bi/Tri Claws?

Shmoky is right. We have friends that the wife doesn't care to drive at all but would love to go. I think it's nice. Remember the first 4-door pick-up, ugly! Now it seems 1/2 the trucks you see are 4-doors.

My wife and I ride together all the time. We might consider one but I think we will wear out our Rubicon first.

My wife is the same, likes to ride but not drive. We do fine on the regular Cat500. I guess the 2up would be pretty comfy in the back, but man that thing is as long as a 18 wheeler. (haha)

Smoky---The Laws are great for all out pulling power in mud and water, but they are terrible on normal trails. If your not an all out mudder than they suck. They also have a tendency to break things like driveshafts and axles because of there awesome sidebite.
I had a set of Bi/tri's on a Big bear and then a Grizz600. They are fair all around but not up to par for the new generation of tires. There is a long list of tires that would come before them for mudding and trail use. I thought they were 2nd only to Vampires back in the day.

Thanx for the opinion 500i. Appreciate it. I really do like the mud. Do you think the 9" of extra wheel base length would be a hinderance on the trail. I'm sure it would smooth out the ride but might be a problem going over logs or rocks. What new generation tires would you recommend? What about the outlaw radials?
