Default ACT OWNERS?

AC owners that own ACT what are the biggest tires you can put on without wheel spacers? So they don't hit the springs?

Are you talking about how wide you can go up front? I don't think the setup is much different in the rear (if any) than the older models. I had 27" Bi Claws up front and 27" Tri-Claws on the rear of my 99 ACT, and it didn't hit anything. Springs weren't even an issue. With stock rims, it would rub the muffler some though when the suspension squatted to that side real hard. With aftermarket rims, it didn't hit the muffler anymore.

Well on my 03 ACT there is only 3/4 inch of space. If I go wider will I have to put wheel spacers in? Or will the space be fine?

I'm putting 26X9's on the front and 26X12's on the back, I let you know if anything hits, i intend to keep the suspension stock. I'm using Titan 589 MT's. Gonna cost me $770, taxes in, any better prices out there?

Bluethumb;
770$ is WAY expensive. Ronnies, rocky mountain, or highlifter has then for over a hundred less that is delivered price.

I'm running 10-12-27's on the front and 12-12-27's on the rear. Mud Bugs. 2002 500 ACT and yes they do rub in the rear. About 3/4 inch clearance when sitting, but when she's in the rough stuff they rub. About 500 miles on them now and you can see how the shock springs are starting to curve in and rub on the shocks. I don't want to run spacers, some of the trails around here are narrow. Have thought about moving the shock mounts in. Jeepersmitty

I find the 589s are way over priced. The mudlites are getting rave reviews. You could go 26x10x12 and 26x12x12 for 468 +tax.
