For the second or third time I have had a problem with my engine starting to run rough and almost stall, it won't take any throttle and almost acts like it sucked in some water or something. Today after a good muddy wet run I washed the bike off and noticed the idle getting a little rough, so I jumped on and gave it a shot of gas and it stalled. I restarted and had the same problem. The bike would idle but you could not give it any throttle, now heres the strange part, when I switch over to the reserve tank the problem clears up. It has done this four times now and each time the problem clears up when the lever is moved to reserve. The first time it happened I just assumed that I was running out of gas, but when I filled it it only took 9 litres of gas. Today when I looked in the tank I could see the gas so I know I am not out of gas. Hopefully somebody has some idea as to what is going on.

Regards Jim Bell

Mine has done this befor and yes by switching to the reserve it clears up,
Check you Tank cap and make sure it is H2O tite. You might also check the fuel breather hose and make sure it is H2O tite too.
