I read a post about 1st oil change,I would have a couple of concerns.
I am not an expert so don,t take these as gospel, some on here may know the answers...
1st I would be concerned that the 1st oil change was not done to early if you are going to synthetic oil due to it,s supirior lubrication ability it may not allow engine components to wear in properly.
2nd not understanding all about wet clutches I wonder if it may be posible to do to good a job lubricating a wet disc.
Please respond if You know,I have a ac500 manuel with 65 miles on it and have been arguing with myself about this topic..

I have a friend that is a small engin mechanic, He is certified to work on 'Zuki, yamaha and mercury and Evenrude Outbords, he called 'Zuki for me and talked to the Tech there, The tech said that if the moror has been run properly for 200 miles it is ok to change the oil, he recommended synthitic oil due to its superior lubercation.
As for the clutch, It seems that mine shifts a whole lot smother than it did. So far with 300 miles total the motor and tranmission is running great

 

I run Golden Spectro (motorcycle oil) And it runs and shifts great....Comparied to when i use to run regular oil....i now have 2000 miles on it using synthic....and the first 600 miles where on regular oil///.
