06' Cat 400 4x4 auto

After riding my 06 Cat for even 15-20 min. it is venting gear lube from the rear diff. Anybody run into this before? Thinking about extending the vent hose somewhere else.

Actually we understand this is a very common issue stemming from the factory fluid’s tendency to rapidly expand when heated (which then weeps through the bellows).
Extending the vent hose is a logical solution if you find the venting fluid is making contact with your rear brake. A more permanent solution we’ve discovered is to replace the factory differential fluid with Mobil 1 synthetic 75w-140 gear lube. Making the switch resolved our weeping issues entirely.
