in my humble opinion, a 4 wheeler is classified as an "All Terrain Vehicle". not a motorcycle. what insurance? homeowner's or did you have a vehicular insurance policy on it? if it's homeowner's insurance, it should be no different than a rototiller, lawn mower, or some valuable item which was stored properly and violated through the breaking of other laws such as trespassing AND, considering it's more than $750, a felony theft of property. i just don't know about your Ohio laws or what insurance you're talking about. but, that's my two cents. sorry if i threw in a nickel's worth

First off this will be covered on your home owner policy. Even if you have insurance for your atv. The raise why is because the theft took place at your home. As far as the off road motorcycle question I would tell them no. Your atv is not a motorcycle. You need to tell them that this all terrain vehicle and tell them cc rating. The only raise I can for the cc rating is that I have insurance on my atv and it does not say motorcycle or all terrain vehicle on my card. It give the make and under model it give cc rating. I don't know if all insurance is the same but that how my insurance works. I hoped i help good luck.

Every State is different and I don't know what the policy is in Ohio. I can tell you in Massachusetts that atvs are only covered on home policies if they are used on your property for yard work, snow removal, farming, etc.... If you tell them it's for recreational use, it is not covered. We also don't have Atv insurance available in our State due to the high theft rate (or at least that is what I was told).
