rear brake problem 250r
#1
I have a 1985 250r with a failed rear brake. It is full of fluid and I have tried bleeding it. When pumping the pedal with the bleeder open it has no pressure at all and spits out a little fluid at a time (very little).
With the bleeder valve closed when I pump on the pedal (with fluid), there is no pressure at all and I see no signs of leakage while pumping. Please help with suggestions.

Sounds like air in the lines. Get a brake bleeding kit. It's a pump that you attach to the bleeder. it pulls fluid through the system. Much easier than pumping the brake, closing the bleeder, and repeating.
