Default Need help from engine guys!!

My Timing chain in my 200x makes quite a bit of noise. I found a good break down of it here...http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit...dept_id=179866
What is the propper way to adjust this? Do I need to remove any covers and do a visual or is there a way to adjust it all together? The adjuster is easy to access. Please help, Thanks

I could be totally wrong, but I thought on the 200x there was a chain tensioner. There is a little two inch finger looking piece sticking out from the cylinder that contains a nut. I believe that all you have to do is loosen the nut and the spring loaded tensioner will adjust itself and then you just torque it back down. If you are getting a tapping sound, the valves probably need to be adjusted. which is also pretty easy. Do a search on it and you will probably find a thread. I find that owning old quads and trikes like I do necessitates that I own shop manuals, too. I recommend that you shell out $15 and life will get a lot easier for you.
