those two years have different part numbers. 83-85 should interchange and 86-87 should interchange.

you can get one new from servicehonda.com, partsfish.com, bikebandit.com.

Dude, have you seen the prices on those things. They're outrageous!!! $109 for a stupid kick starter lever on bikebandit.com is crazy.

welcome to the world of atv's. unless you can find one on ebay or somewhere used, you're going to pay for it up the **** for oem, especially on out of production bikes like yours. i would try service honda, you'll have to call because their online microfiche doesn't cover trikes. but their prices are about 10-15% less than bikebandit.

Ok, well when i go to look at it tomarrow i'm gonna see if that guy can get that kick start lever back. Well he had it stolen last weekend and the person stole the kick start lever off of it for some weird reason. He said he was supposed to be gettin it back and he didn't know what was goin on. I'm seriously havin second thoughts on this trike, i mean its $400 and i don't really feel like payin $100 for a brand new starter. Its just sensless.

if your handy with a welder you could always make one witha few bolts, my friend did that for his, it isnt the prettiest thing in the world but im sure if you took more time then the 10 minutes he did you could make it look a lot better

does it kick forwards like most hondas does or is it a backwards kick. maybe a 250R kick starter would fit. not sure though
why buy a OEM or used part if you can get the aftermarket one for only a little more money, but better quality and better looks....
