I got a good deal on a mint 200x fram with everything but the engine. I put my atc 200 motor in it and everything is working great but one thing. If any one knows, the little metal and rubber intake tube between the engine cylinder and carb. well this piece is from the 200 motor and it will not let the carb fit in there. The back shock is in the way. Does the 200x motor have a different intake hose. or dose this motor just sit in there different. All the bolt holes lined up good.

If I remember correctly, yes it does. In fact, the intake for the 83-85 200x is different than the one for the 86-87 200x. I'm not sure if one of the versions of the 200x intake will fit the 200 engine or not.

I just did the same conversion and I don't remember anything about the intake being off.May be I did use a 200X intake. But I know the break {rear} was a easy fab job.

I also have done the same conversion.
I had to get the little black peice off of a 200X motor so it would fit, it was the only extra piece that I needed.
