Help..200s Oil pump?
#1
Here's what is going on, just finished putting a crank in, so the entire engine was torn apart. Got everything put back in fine, changed alot of seals, and when starting it up for the first time it seem there was no oil getting to the top of the cam. Took it down the road and after about 15min or so it made this loud squealing noise and lost all power, which after tearing it back apart, find that my cam is shot now, so apparently there was no oil getting to the top of the motor. Tore it all down and took the oil pump apart, seems to be all intact and working, all specs are correct according to the manual. Any idea what caused this, it was working great before I tore it all apart. Any help would be appreciated, I'm about to put it back to together and don't wanna fry another cam. I really don't know how oil gets to the top, maybe some hole or something is plugged, please help!!
