200x
#1
I have a 200x. It just recently quit on me. Before it quit, it had white smoke coming out of the exhaust and the was oil leaking out somewhere by the head. The spark plug was black the last time I changed it. Now it won't start and when I push down on the kickstart, it feel as if I don't have any compression. What is wrong? I don't know much about motors, but I think the piston rings are bad and the head gasket is bad. I think I should get a new piston, rings, and a head gasket and have the cylinder polished or whatever that is called. What do you guys think I should do?Or possible have it bored out. How much might that be?
Thanks

I would think that your head gasket is bad and you are loosing compression throught this gasket. your engine will not run with the proper compression level. You will not have to get your engine board out but you might need to get a few new parts but that is common.

Thanks for the reply. I finally tore the top of the engine off and looked at the piston and valves. They were all covered with a real thick carbon sludge probably from burning oil. I think I might have it bored out anyway cause I need some more power. What could I bore it out to? I would say .40
