How fast is a 200X compared to some of todays quads such as the Warrior, 300ex, and Mojave. Is it even in the same class as them? I have a 200X that I am rebuilding and planning on puttin a higher lift cam and wiseco piston. It's one of the newer 200x's 86-87 when they changed everything on them would it be a good run for a bone stock warrior, cuz i know it won't be no match for my warrior. Thanks for ur help.

 

I fixed up an 86 200x a few months ago and sold it. I put a Cobra aluminum exhaust on it, bored it 20 over, and put a 10.250:1 Wiseco in it. It actually felt fairly strong. I had planned to put a Web cam in it and get the head ported, but I took a GOOD(!) offer and sold it to get back into 2 strokes(3 wheelers only). I would put a 12:1 piston in it if I had it to do over again. The 86 is my favorite year of 200x, there's just not as many parts available as for the 83-85.
