tire size

Default tire size

i'm sure this has been asked many times before but i did a search and nothing came up,what is the stock tire size on a honda 84 200s,i'm doing some work on this trike for my friend and the tires seem way too big,there on 9 inch rims and the tires are 25inches there rubbing on the fenders and the trike feels really tippy,any help would be great i'm thinking 22's would be a nice size but i just wanna ask cause stock is how he wants it..

rob,

22x11-8 is the stock tire size.

If it has 9" wheels with 25" tires, chances are that someone took them from one of the BigWheel 200 models.

So rather than him having to spend money on rims would a 22'' tire work on the 9'' rim?

You can find 22" tires made for 9" rims. They cost a tick more then a 8" rim but not that much.
He might of gotten the tires off of a big red or a 200m,

go to www.gomotorcycle.com I got my tires there, $250 w/ shipping, for all new dunlops, and there the orginial rims off the trike...and the tires were hard to find for me..
