First, what is the correct term for the shifting shaft that goes in the case?

The very bottom tooth had a crack in it so I welded it back up real nice, but a friend of mine hopped on it and jammed it into first and probably broke the damn tooth off.

Before I welded it back up two or three years ago, I went to a dealer and they said it was around $175.

This is for my 84 250R.

Does anyone perhaps have one? Or is there an online place to get it cheaper. I've never seen one on EBay before either.
