i have a 85' 250 big red with a air filter and a cobra exhast and it will do 60 65mph. i went down the highway and i was keeping up with traffic so the bad *** 350x will do 65 no prob. i have raced a 450 froeman and a 660 grizzly down the river bar and smoked them. so to the people that say their slow **** off lets race.

 

the 350x has been said to do anywhere from 60 to 70 mph...but there are alot of factors that can change so will say about 65 is probly the average...the 250r will do anywhere from 70 to 80 and once again alot of factors come into that...so lets say about 75 average

 

Honda did make the best three wheelers. The only competition was the kawasaki 250. The kawasaki was probably faster but there are way more Hondas around.

 

im not the best of mechanics but i well i wouldnt say restored but i made it a reliable daily rider with limited tools and my 200x is quick my little girl loves double riding its so easy to wheelie over anything to get anywhere and has plenty of power to get up them steep hills its a blast and my 350x is quick as **** it does beat alot on machines out there 3wheels and most 4wheel like one said earlier the newer one are getting quicker but yeah fine put on a pipe and jet DONE.

 

Well my '85 350x got clocked by a state trooper @ 96 mph all stock other than 25" tall tires. 13 tickets and years later got it going again. My '85 200x with 13/40 tooth sprocket set up got clocked @ 72 mph with 25" tall tires. Haven't been busted on the 250r yet.

Whoever Said Honda three wheelers were the worst is an idiot, and speed alone doesnt make it the best. that being said, I have clocked my 1983 185s at 53 MPH, and it was completely stock, save for Cheng Shin Mud Buster Tires (factory 22x11x8 size) and a UNI Air filter. That thing never was babied (and still isnt). It will keep right on trucking no matter what. its been flipped, rolled, sunk, crashed, you name it.


that being said, I do like the Other three wheeler brands, (Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris) And do want to get an old Yamaha Tri-moto.
