Fatten up means to richen or increase the jet size. I use a curved pick for the circlips. I use snap-on picks but I think most wal-marts carry a stanley pick set and they will do just fine. Install one circlip in the hardest to get to side of the piston so that you can slide the wrist pin through and install the circlip on the easy side. Be sure to stuff some rags down in the motor so that if your circlip falls it won't go down in the crankcase.

the stock bore size on this engine is 65mm....its not hard to hone, if you havent done it already, and you need advise, i can help you do it right. i have to run 92 octane gas...absolutly, at about 900ft elevation. mine also runs much better when i add some octane booster to the gas.....seems to run cleaner. youll probly need to do clutches in this engine/trans when you get it running right, itl have more torque than it did before, and will probly slip the clutches. most of the carbs that are attached to these engines have worn out needles, and are already running rich enough or even too rich for the change in compression, so id put it together and break it in....then get it warm and do a plug check...adjust from there.....

yeah i wanna hone it myself, i sorta like doing things myself lol..my buddy said he used scotch brights and wd 40 to hone his dirt bike cylinder, what else around home could i use...if i have to i will take it to a shop but i was jus wondering if there is anything around the house i can use? also, my clutch was slipping even before i let it sit for awhile, but i never knew before that the oil type could make it slip, so im hoping thats why it did that before, now u say with the added torque it will probalyl slip, how do i account for the extra power, do i have to do something to that screw behind the cylinder or get new plates? thx for all the help
