Default Spark plug gapping??

Last night, was readin through the manual, jus skimming for chain tension max, and i came across plug gap cleanance, it said .028 of an inch..

So i check it out, and mine was double what it should have been like .060 lol...

Does having a bigger gap do anything, or a smaller one?

I think it forces the coil make its maximum voltage. Might wear it out too soon. My .02 .

I acually highly dout your gap was close to 0.060! It shouldnt run like that. Anyways I would try it at 0.024. It will burn everything quick and easy. It should also let your motor rev higher faster, and reduce any hesitation or sputtering at high RPM.
