I would really like to see the ATC's come back but here in Canada I doubt it will ever happen.

a 250 shaft drive recon based trike would be a great starting point for the atc market somethign to compete with the old 250sx.an dmabey a blaster based trike. i built one with a 200x front end grafted to a blaster frame and that thing was insane but it also had a yz490 dirtbike motor in it.

I would like to see them make some OEM parts for the old ones to make a restoration project mint.

i dont understand this statement. there is less to a trike than a quad.
I think what he is saying is that they would have to spend the R&D money to start the manufactering of them. I think that since the two strokes are done in 2006 they should go ahead and make the 2006 Honda 250R (the legend returns) and the 2006 Yamaha Tri-Z 350 Twin. I would sell my house to buy one of each. lol
id like to see a 450R trike. i think the R&D budget isnt what scares them as much as the liability suits coming back.

Default new three wheelers??

I've often thought about building up new three wheelers.
Wouldn't really be a problem, the number of parts to make a three wheeler based on any number of new quads is not huge.
The question I keep coming back to is would any of you really step up and pay $7000.00 for a new three wheeler?
I think most people who ride three wheelers now got them for <$1000.00 and aren't really in the market for something new.

How many of you want to give me a deposit?
Really?

ok....guys, i dont think it would be feasable, or safe to build a new three wheeler with the power and technology of the new 4 wheelers. i think it would be most effective to build them out of a simple, dependable, and highly moddable powertrain and suspension. i think as mentioned earlier, a 400ex or even a 300ex would make a great canditade. a 250ex would round out the selection with an awesome utility machine---and whats a brand new 250ex cost?? 3grand?? id pay that for a new three wheeler....it would be twice as much fun as the 250ex, and those quads are a blast.

Damn i wish they would hurry up and reproduce the legendary ATC250r before 2-strokes get banned in 2006! Couldn't the Atv Manufacturers make customers sign a form that they aren't liable for any injuries sustained while riding a ATC so they can't get sued?? Or is there some kind of law that prohibits them from making anyone sign a form like that? I'm puzzled on this one.

What?
They had to ban the TRX250R in ProProduction so the new quads would quit getting beat by 20 year old ones.
ATC250R and TRX250R are the same motor.
Have you ridden a fast ATC250R, Tri-Z or Tecate? I can tell you they are faster than my KFX-400.
Power and Technology, give me a break.
