Don't worry about the blue smoke yet.......Give it a few more good rides and I'm sure it will be ok. Mine did that for awhile after the rebuild, now she runs clean 100% of the time.

I only put in a new piston, but im breakin it in like i am going to ride....i have heard that from so many people, and this one website even proves that!i forget what it is right now, but its a good tips site for breakin..in order for the rings to seat good they need pressure and when u ride it harder it creates more pressure, thus proper seating is insured..IMO

the breakin procedure of new rings or a new piston is just as if it was new. for the first 5-10 hours of operation, no more thanone-third throttle should be used and speed should be varied as much as possible within the one-third throttlelimit. prolonged stedy running at one speed, no matter how moderate, is to be avoided, as is hard acceleration.following the first 5-10 hours of operation, more throttle should not be used untill the ATV has run for 100 hours, and then should be limited to short bursts of speed untill 150 hours have been logged.

tookin word for word from Clymer's honda shop manual fo 200cc engines to 350cc engines between 1984
and 1987
