Default Waking up a 86 200x

3500 feet above sea level. Want to put a cobra system on a 86 200x.
Will a 85/86 350x K&N fit a 86 200x? In the book, all the part numbers are the same but no part # for the 86 200x for K&N.
What are the stock main jets on this bike?
Do you think that the poilts will have to changed for this mod?
What size of jets do you think I should get to play with?
Should I cut up the air box lid or just leave it stock?

86 200x completely stock. In excellent condition. Original tires

a 200x doesn't have points, I have a 250x k&n on my 200x, fits like it was meant there. I have a cobra exhaust with a spark arrester(doesn't make the bike quite so loud) and took off the airbox lid, for some odd reason mine is running a 114(should be richer) also put a 14t on the front with 20" xcr's. Not much more power over stock(atleast doens't seem like it, I ride a atc330r, banchees seem slow to me), the cobra exhaust makes alot more noise and doesn't seem like alot more power. I'm gonna try supertrapp universals, shoud be better. myself I would buy a used cobra exhaust(for the header pipe) and get supertrapp universals(I would think the supertrapp would be better than any cobra or dg). I would work on suspension first, the 200x suspension is pretty bad(compared to my r). I'm gonna put on a 350x trees with a 84 250r front end and already ordered a works rear shock. next I'm gonna do some porting, big carb and cam.

I never meant to say points I it was pilot jets? There are alot of people using this set up, lets hear about it. Most bikes make more power like this I could only say this bike would too, my banshee and raptor did big gains too. The suspension is great for the trail riding and the open fire roads even small leaps. The front forks were just rebuilt , not even 1 hour of ride time . This bike could really be great with more power. The first after market part is going to be a set of razers. Better handling and more power how much fun could this be. This bike is fun but power in this package would be insane, let yhe maddness being.

Put the pipe, k&N airfilter for a 350x, the mains are 120 and can go higher with some airbox lid carving. It made more power, and it sounds cool. The mixter screw is 3 turns out. The bike wheels supereasy now to.
