My 1984 Big Red 200 ES has a problem with the rear axle. The splines where the brake drum mount are worn off as are the splines on the brake drum. Anyone had this problem before? Is it possible to shift the axle to the right and use some of the good remaining splines and replace the brake drum? I am looking for a replacement axle and brake drum. Do any of you have one to sell? There is a 250 Big Red axle for sale on ebay. Will this fit a 200 ES Big Red? Any other sources for an axle and brake drum? Thanks for your help.

 

Is your big red shaft or chain driven?

 

It is a shaft drive with reverse, etc.

 

I was just wondering because I could get a chain driven axle for you. I bet there would be several models that you could get an axle off of. 250sx, 250es, and any other shaft driven atc. I can't say for shure though. Sorry I couldn't help you better.
