I replaced the original starter wire with a bigger gage wire, and now the starter won't even turn the motor over. Is the wire the cause of the problem or could the starter be fried?

 

I dont think the starter is fryed...have u tryed jump starting the starter...put negative booster on frame, then the positive to the bolt on top of the motor..try that....also, perhaps your battery is dead or no good anymore..check the battery out first tho

no it's not the battery, cause i even hooked a battery charger right to the terminals and it still wont turn over, when i hit the starter button, it will click, but not turn over. no i didn't try jump starting it yet. i'll try it and see what happens.
