I have a 86 350x. I am installing new fork seals. I have a factory manual on order but haven`t recieved it yet. Can anyone look in there manual and tell me the exact amount of fork oil to put in? Im pretty sure the 85 is the same. Thank you.

specs are the same for 85 and 86

Fill the fork with ATF

CAPACITY: 290cc (9.8 US oz., 10.2Imp oz.)

Pump the fork several times.

Compress the fork and measure the ATF level from the top of the tube after the level stabilizes.

SPECIFIED LEVEL: 215mm (8.5 in.)

(note: level is checked without fork springs installed.)

It's good to hear that there a few of those 3-wheeled bad boys out there! Mine's an '85. Just got the motor back together. Now my biggest problem is keeping the front tire near the ground!

At least you don't have to replace the front tire that often. Mine is an 85 and I have that 'problem' as well. I really don't think it is a problem, it's fun!

Hey guys I am completely rebuilding my 86. I'm polishing the whole frame and forks and axle. Do you know a good place to find parts? I need pretty much the whole clutch assembly and a crank. I have thought about rebuilding my crank but I can't locate rods and bearings anywhere. I have seen east coast atv and k and k both sell rebuilt/used cranks so I might just get one of those. I'll have to get a pic up here for you guys when I finish it.

I get all my parts from Western honda. Orders over$100 are free shipping. They are also cheap. 1-800-279-7433 email westernhonda.com If you dont need a new one those other places would be fine too.

I GOT AN 86' 350X TOO, YA I AGREE ITS WORK TO KEEP THE FRONT END ON THE GROUND. BEFORE I HAD MINE THE GUY HAD IT CLOCKED DOING LIKR 75 DOWN THE HIGHWAY, AND THATS BEFORE THE ENGINE WORK WAS DONE. IT HAS OVERSIZED JETS, SIDEWINDER SPROKETS, AN AFTERMARKET HEADER AND RCM PIPE, THE HEADER IS LIKE A LITTLE LESS THAN A FOOT LONG, AND IT GOT 20 INCH REAR TIRES, HOLESHOTS, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANYIDEA HOW FAST IT MIGHT GO??? I'M THINKIN AROUND 80 BUT NOT SURE
