My 1986 Tecate does not have the headlight switch, the connector has been jumpered allowing the headlight to activate at all times. I've seen pictures of this switch and the switch itself looks similar to a Kawasaki KX kill switch, however I'm not sure if the switch design is the same. Is the Tecate headlight switch a switch that "clicks" on and off? If it is then I don't believe that the KX kill switch would work as a replacement. Does anybody know?
