Default Mud Tires for 250 Big Red

I havent ridden a threewheeler in several years now, use to have 84 200es big red that I loved and completely wore out. Best I can remember, everytime I got it stuck, it was in the mud, lol. Now I have just gotten an 87 250 bigred and I want to put the best mud tires I can get on it. I have been looking on the net all morning at tires and am wondering which you guys think are the best. Some that I like are the

Gators
Vampires
Mud Bugs

others I am considering are bear claws, mud lites, dirt devils and super swampers.

what do you guys think is the best??

Also are the 25 -13- 9 and 25-13.5-9 tires too wide for the bigreds rims or will they hit anything on the rear??

I will not be riding on any pavement, just open pasture, with swamp like bottom lands, a few clay hills and very rarely down a gravel road. I had about decided on the gators because thry were cheaper than the bugs but when I called to order they didnt have any and the guy checked with all his suppliers and couldnt get them in 25 12 9s. I asked him about the mud bugs, he said they were a better tire than the gator. said both maxxum and gbc were owned by chen singh or something like that and the bugs were there top of the line tire, wound tighter and much more puncture resistant and would wear longer. also said that the side lugs are more aggressive.

he also said I could get the blackwaters for 52 dollars a piece if any of you are intrested in them. I got the mud bugs for 162 dollars delivered to my door. the tire prices were not the cheapest I could find but when combined with free shipping on anything over 100.00 they beat the next best deal I could find by about 10 bucks and the guy I talked with was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I ordered them from pvpowersports.com if anybody else wants to check them out

Check out these bad boys: BTW, I am not affilliated with them nor have I ever bought from these people. I was just going on price and looks, but those super swamper assymetrical bad bows looked pretty cool and cheap!
