Rebuilt my carb and it still runs poorly!

Actually, if my thinking is correct (and maybe someone out thgere can verify this), raising the clip would lower the needle, which would mean that you're actually making it leaner rather than richer. Try moving the clip down, which in turn should raise the needle, thus making your mixture richer.

Ok, so I checked the fuel tank filter and it's clean. The carb is clean as well. The float is set to .500 inch. I am going to give it another try tomorrow. It has 125 psi of compression. Is this low?

My arm is killing me. I don't know what to say other than this ffffnnnn atc is getting the better of me. The carb is rebuilt, a nos stator assembly, valves are set and triming is on the money. Why is the damm thing so hard to start?

Hows the mixture screw set? About 2 1/2 turns out from seated? Air filter and cover on?
It might just be too lean for these cold conditions.
Have you checked for spark?
If you have someone to pull it with a tow strap while you bump start it, might be the best way to get it going. If its posible to start, it will with bump starting, and its much easier on your arm.

Ok, so I got it to fire today after adjusting the valves again. When I did it the first time and ran it for awhile they must have reseated themselves. But I still have the bogging problem. It has a new NGK D8EA installed and while it was running I took off the air filter and noticed that when I snap the throttle open it really chokes itself on gas. Meaning I can see gas spitting out of the carb. If I feather it up to full throttle it will go but who wants to ride a bike like that? The jets are stock (pilot#38 pressed in/main#95) with the moose after market needle installed on third clip position. To me this sounds like a pilot jet problem. I pulled the pilot out and made sure it was clean then pressed it back in again. I don't know what else to do. Any ideas? Thanks

In the intake side of the carb, looking thru the venturi, theres gonna be one or two very small air bleeds, around the diameter. My guess, is one of them is plugged. One will go to the idle circuit, and the other...if there is one, is for the main.
