Default Remember the 300R kit?

Can you still find parts for this kit? My 82' came with the 300 kit on it but it was clapped out! I went cheap and returned it back to a 250. I think i will need a "last over" piston and rings, gaskets etc.

Can I still get this stuff. Local dealer says no.

BTW: you have not even ridden a scary trike till you've ridden an 82' with this kit![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

thats funny,an 82 atc250r with a big-bore! your fing nuts,thats a death machine! i checked la sleeve ,no good.they have them for 85 and up only. PSYCHO![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

these guys had a big bore kit for a 81-84 atc250r not too long ago, maybe one of those pistons could be made to work

I've been told by engine builders her locally that you can use a piston off a fl 350 and trim the skirts and they would work fine.

ever now and then stuff for the air cooled 300 kits shows up on ebay. There was a guy on 3WW that just got done with one but I am not sure where he got the parts for it.

I just sold a complete bike (That was trashed, had been outside without a cover for 5-7 years) for 100$, But it did run and had that motor in it
