im still running the 38mm air stryker on my bike and my buddy has dibs on buying it, but there is always a chance he'll bail. It wont be for sale for a month or two as I'm still awaiting on engine builders to get my big motor here.
You still running the geckos?
if you went out this weekend, you probably had problems due mainly to the extremely wet sand=more bite.
with a 12th tooth front i was still starting in 2nd but i was running a taller tire than you. if you can launch it hard in 3rd, go for it.
you shouldnt have a problem installing a thumb. aquiring a thumb throttle assembly might be the hardest thing. but at most you would only need another throttle cable to make it work with your current carb.
you can purchase 38mm keihen air strykers PWK for $180-200 brand new from any Sunco dealer.

Yes, I'm still running the Geckos for now. I was told the thumb throttle doesn't have enough throw for the 40 mm flat side. Was I told wrong? I have a thumb assembly already with the cable. The cable wont work with the 40 mm carb I already know that
