Default 1984 200x carb question

Hello there all, I'm new here and I see that there is a lot of great information being passed around so I thought I might as well join in on the fun. I have a couple of carburetor questions. First a little back ground. My sparkplug kept getting just soaked with fuel so it would not run. I would change the spark plug and ride for about half hour or so and the same thing would happen. I pulled the carb rebuilt it and reinstalled it. I went for a ride and it quit after 15 minutes. I pulled the plug and it was dry as a bone???? I think my air fuel mixture is incorrect. does anyone know how many turns in/out it should be? Or does anyone have any ideas on what my problem is? I really appreciate any help here. My 2 year old son loves to go for a ride on the "motorcycle" and when it doesn't run he gets pretty bumed out.
