86 honda 350x engine swap

i need info on if i can put a moto cross engine into the frame something aroud a 350 or 400 honda

You have to make new engine mounts and the kick start will be backwards. Most motocross engines head sit to high and will hit the frame.

what would bve the best engine to but in an 86 350x if no original is aviable but keeping in mind speed and horse power

What all motor transplant's have been seen or done. I have a 86 350X that is fixing to get a major overhaul with something, but still exploring my options
