Default Clarke tank for 200X

Anyone have a plastic Clarke gas tank on the 200X?

I bought a used one in excellent shape, and got a new cap and 'rubber mounting strap' direct from Clarke.

My question is where the heck does the rubber strap mount to on the tank and frame?

Not sure if I like the look of the tank with no fins but it would be nice to know how it mounts if I decide to sell it so I could inform the next owner.

Thanks guys
Jeff

I can't give you an answer for the rubber strap. I have a clark tank on my YZ250 and it has the straps in the stock locations. I wouldn't use the tank on a air cooled engine because the fins help a ton on directing airflow toward the cylinder.

The 200X Clarke tank looks a lot like a 350X tank, sans the fins. I personally think they look a bit too tall on the 200X. I beleive IMS makes a plastic tank that looks closer to the stock profile. They run about $200 new though.
