I'm restoring a 200x and was wandering how much a 10.5:1 piston would help. I will be doing alot of woods riding. If i get that piston should i get an aftermarket cam too?

the 10.5 to 1 makes a nice crisp difference! my head was ported and polished with the 10.5 to 1 and a aftermarket air filter, and I was very pleased. In my opinion, if you go with a aftermarket cam, you might as well at that point go the full way. The powroll cam that goes with the 10.5 piston is $270, and the ones that go with the 12.5 to 1 piston are only $185, but at that point require the better valve springs. All a matter of opinion.
