Default Do you know? 1984

hellow i am new to this forum my name is jeremy and i need a question answerd fast well before the next wed. i have a 1984 atc 200s and my cdi unite burnt up. i know this becasuse i open the back and it was fried. can u get into these things does any one know? other wise what years and makes are compatable? there are none on ebay at all for a 1984 but there are for like 1981 and so on... can u use any year? i was told that i can use a 110 125m 200m but i dont know if that means all years or what. also is there any sight that i can go to to get one for my 1984 200s. last question is the numbers on the cdi what do they mean? mine says CI-08 2.N 051. is that the resistance in the cdi and will any others work like i have asked before thanks jeremy.

I have an 1984 atc 200m, and it uses the same cdi box.
go to this site and check i out. it has all the electrical stuff you need.

my conector is sqare does that mean mine is an 83 then????

yeah, the 1984-85 are the same, so i'd say that yours is older then an 84

i looked at that sight you gave to me and they do not offer a square plug only round cdi what should i do and what year make is mine ... danm this suck .....

on the down tube looking at the 3-wheeler from the front end, on the left side there should be a tag of some sort that has the make model and year. If still not sure where to look let me know

lol i am not sure where to look b/c it is up in wis and i am from ill i am going up for the 4th and i want to get it running so i have to decide fast what to do. i tryed to take old one apart but the damn thing is all plastic cant get in. i i was to get like one from a 85 can i do that and make my own plug and it will work thanks guys.

yeah it might work, go to this site. there are wireing diagrams for an 85-86, that would help you out alot. 3wheelerworld
