new to forum first time. I recently did an overhaul on the lower end of my 200s. rebuilt the tranny gears and clutch. I am able to shift through all the gears but the problem i have now is the gearshifter is not springing back. I shift down into gear,but the gearshifter lever stays down and doesn't come back up by it's self.Can anybody help me with this problem.

 

hey i have that very same problem with mine. i figured out that spring on the shifter assembly inside the clutch side of the crankcase was worn out.
