a 200x isn't a whole lot faser then a big red is. They would ride alot smoother though. As for the 350x they are a good machine but they will be quite the work out for your leg. They do make an e-start for them but its like $500+. 3wheelers are pretty damn fun I'd still ride them but most of the ones you find are junk/ have hidden problems. Good luck on your next purchase though

Oh ya and to look up lots of trike stuff to go 3 Wheeler World to find A TON of stuff on 3wheelers. (if you didnt already know about it)

The 350X is a great, reliable, fast trike and easily the sportiest 4-stroker ever made. But it's true, your right leg will become bigger/stronger after kicking it over! I rode a new TRX450R the other day with auto compression release, and it was cake compared to the 350X. Oh well, the 350X has WAY more power than the 200X, if you rode them both in one day, I think it's easy to guess which one you would want. You can find 350Xs for $1000-$1500 pretty easily.

Honda did make a sporty 3 wheeler with electric start. Called 250SX i used to have one, it had plenty of power and was real easy to ride cuz of the auto clutch. But the fastest 3 wheelers are the honda 250R, Kawasaki Tecate250, and the Yamaha Tri-Z 250. My tri z can smoke any 400cc quad. the next fasest is the 300X

The ATC250SX was great also and was the first decently fast trike I ever rode, way back in the day. It is essentially a stripped down version of the Big Red (same motor/tranny, reverse + electric start) and is much sportier. Still, it is a "regular" trike made sporty, not a purpose-designed sportster like the 350X. The 250SX is similar in straighline accel/top speed to the 200X.

Depends on what you want it for. I love my 200x as a camp cruiser and it makes a great beer carrier (with the 6 pack rack). I take it to all the big dunes in Glamis but there is no way it can make it up the steep stuff. At first I thought that was all I wanted but now that I'm comfortable with the trike I wish I had bought a 350x. Isn't that the way it always works though? You think you're ok with one thing the all of a sudden you wish you had more power.

you gotta love those 2 strokes. i just got a 1985 yamaha tri-z water cooled 250. its sweet. huge powerband. 850 well spent. if you are looking for something smoother with good power then i would go for a 200X. my freind has one. it has good power and rides real smooth on the trails around my property. as far as dependability honda's are pretty much bullet proof. let them sit for 10 years, pop in a new spark plug and change the gas and your down the road.
