Default 85 200X rebuild

Hello All,

I posted a while back and got some info on the removal of the clutch. Now that I have that done, by the way I had to make a tool out of an old socket using a bench grinder to make the "fingers" needed to grab the center nuts on the clutch and the "cone" looking piece in front of it. Not sure what you call that cone piece. Anyway I am now close to splitting the cases and I am wondering if it is typical that when you lose the connecting rod bearing does it usually trash the crank and connecting rod? I know that I will have to get it out and inspect it before knowing 100% but was wondering if this is a common occurrence.

Also while I’m there is there something I should look at while I am that far into it. I know that when I built my Yamaha VMax motorcycle everyone in my VMax group told me to check this and that and to be sure and replace these certain orings for good insurance and so on. So I thought that I would ask to see if there was anything someone could think of.

Also does anyone have any extra parts that they would be willing to part with? I need a jug, connecting rod (I think), rod bearing, rear master cyl, handle bars, rear fender and seat. I know that I can look on Ebay I just thought that I would ask here first. Never know who has what lying around their garage. Please contact me and let me know what you have and how much

Thanks again,
