i am quad ignorant and i was wondering does the banshee have 2 pistons?

 

yeh its got 2 and they are really small, twin 175's and a Banshe has more than 35hp sorry but its more like 40-45hp stock!

 

Back in 1987 they were pushing 45 but now its more around 35 stock. If they had 40-45 they would beat yfzs which have 37ish and keep up with raptors which have 35ish

 

Banshee would most likely win, it would have to do alot with the riders. And yes the banshee is a twin.

 

Yamaha advertised 48 HP all over the place in '87, I'm sure it was true then. It's pretty sad that they detuned it right as 4-strokes were becoming more popular, some younger kids have no idea what a mean machine the Banshee is/can be.

Lol, I would like to race you with you on a shee and me on a tecate. You would be suprised. Just because a banshee has an extra 100ccs doesnt mean crap. Tecates have a better power/weight and have less drag/are more areodynamic. Thats why they stoped making them and continued to make banshees.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
