I just bought an '85 350X in great shape and every thing works but the lights. I bought new bulbs and they both worked when the bike was in idle but when i reveved the engine the lights would blow out on low and then when i switched them to high they would also blow out when i reved the engine. this has happened to me with 2 sets of bulbs. any ideas why?? this is my first post by the way

 

Sounds like you have a voltage problem. Check the amount of power comming frm the stator at idle and when revved up. It should increase but not over around 14 volts I think. Could be the regulator
