Default atc 50 (i think) is it a good deal?

someone bye my house has one and will trade me it for $100-$150 and a go-ped sport

there is only one problem that i know of and that is 1st gear makes a clacking noise he says its like there is a giant chunk missing from first gear and then it catches

would this be a good deal and how much would it cost to fix that problem or is it ok to ride it like that

im not sure about the year or if it is an atc but i know its a honda 70cc three wheeler mad some time in the 80's

If you have no use for the ATC, I would do the trade. Thats $150 more for the warrior lol. Plus you could probably sell that go ped for $100.

Oh i thought you were trading the ATC lol. Yea those are fun little bikes, $100 and a go ped is a pretty good deal. As far as first gear go's you may find what you are looking for here Honda OEM ATC parts

That link is for a 1980 ATC 70 cause I wasn't sure what year the one you want is.

Hope I helped

Yeah, that is not bad. My kids have a 87 Honda TRX 70 and love it. Make the trade.

I change my previous reply, I did not notice the 1rst gear problem. I would not suggest riding it like that. You will damage more stuff in the crank case. If you do the work you self it might not cost to much to repair. It is an rebuild job none the less and most shops will charge you as such. A few hundred bucks easy. So I retract the trade it vote and say do not. You can find one in better shape for less than what you would be trading plus repairs.

I just saw it on ebay great deal. I can't believe what some people are asking for those 70 atc's on their. Buy now at 1000.00 they must be crazy. I got my TRX 70 for 700.00. I also saw other engines for alot more than the one your bidding on. Make sure you are watching the auction for the last 5 minutes. Alot people will waite and not bid until then. I lost a couple of auctions that way, so now I make sure I can watch the end to make sure I win it. Good Luck. Let us know what happens. You might want to post a question asking why a 4 stroke 70 atc would smoke, to make sure it doesn't need rebuilt also.
