Default atc 70 (i think) is it a good deal?

ok well i went and saw it today it is an atc 90 and was mad in the 1970 it starts first pull but it need a new tranny, and a new master link for the chain. all extra plastics, and turf tammer tires the rear axle is loose but he says he knows why and will help me fix it because he lives up the block. he wants 110 and a go-ped

i can get a tranny on ebay for $40 plus $40 to ship

the lights dont work the wires were pulled out so he said i just have to reconnect all the wires. the kill switch doesnt work so i have to pull the plug to turn it off.

the kid only paid 250 for it and only road it up the block a few times

is this a good deal its kinda old but i dont know if its a rare bike or somthing

any help

I would say no, it is not worth it. You can find something pretty cheap, that doesn't need so much work. It will turn into a restoration nightmare.

well im gonna buy it tommorrow for 100 and the go-ped and if the thing doesnt run good or it turns out there is other things wrong with it ill return it because of the fact that the kid lives down the block

its hard for me to find things around here the only things i seem to find on long island is quads and dirtbikes i have been looking for somthing i can mess around on and my lil brother can ride too.

I dont know the kid said he'll help me work on the whole thing when i get my parts i think im gonna go for it.

Try to lowball the seller since you're gonna have to go into the cases. I just got done with a YT 60 Tri-Zinger that was a total basket case. It cost me about $500 to get it to what it is now. It's in my pics. If it weren't for eBay I'd still be working on it.
