Default tri-z clutch problem any help appreciated

my tri-z is doing the following, when i am just putting around and then nail it the engine revs very high and then a couple of seconds later the gear catches up and goes. its like a delayed reaction from the push of the throttle to the wheels grabbing and going. can i adjust the clutch? what should i look for as far as wear on the parts? where could i get a new clutch assembly if needed? thanks!!

Sounds like the clutch fibers are worn and need to be replaced. Denni Kirk sells them..

Okie is right. Your fiber plates are worn out. Just get some new ones, and you'll be back in business. If it were me though, I would replace both the fiber and steel plates due to the amount of use they might have seen over the years.
