My neighbor just gave me his junk 85 honda 125m with the electric start. He said the engine locked up and no shop in our area would work on it. I plan to take the engine apart and have a look. I would like to get it up and running, its been sitting for years now and he doesnt beleive i can get it back running. Does anyone have and idea why the engine may have locked up. Does anyone have a guide to rebuilding a 125. Thanks for any help.

hi it might have seized up because of no oil or broken conecting rod or a stuck valve there are a lot of things that could have mad it seize up

 

I checked it out today and the head has been off for a while. The motor turns fine, someone told him it wad seized but its not. So i will clean it up and put it back together.
