Hi guys,my bike runs but my batterry for the electric start never recharges???What's up with that???It'll run with the battery out of it,and the lights work too,but no charge on the terminals????Any Ideas,,,,,stevel

 

You have a charging circut coming off the stator Its probably to weak to give you a charge but, will continue to run the machine, You need an OHM meter and a manual to diagnose the issue, chances are its a burned / corroded wire in your circut, or a dead ground from your battery to the frame, if its not properly grounded it can't charge.

tHANKS BUDDY,i noticed when I had the bike stripped down,that the plug coming out of the engine itself,the first wires coming out of this housing thingy,when I moved the plug,with the engine running,it would shut off,so I bypassed the plug with wires,and removed the plug,and when I started it,it ran fine,and I moved the wires when it was running,and it didn't shut off.So maybe that was the trouble.Thanks alot for the info,,have a good one,,,Steve...
