Default 3 wheeler value?

What is the going rate for a used 3 wheel 80's model 250r? From junk to pristine condition.
A friend of mine has one and said he could get $2,000 easy. I laughed. He got pis sed. So I said I'd ask you guys on the web. His is in extemely good shape I must say for something that is 20 years old.

depends on the year. The water cooled later years go for more then the air cooled earlier years. also if it has been bored out and if so how much is a big deal too.

Default 3 wheeler value?

HI, I know around these parts (quebec, canada). No one would buy a $2000 atc. Like the other post said, depends on the year and parts/stock it has but even then. In extremely good condition, atc's around here (no matter the make or model) Someone would be hard pressed to sell there's for more than $1000. While the average price is about $600 for one that is in very good shape. But that's around here.

Thanks guys for the replies.
It is an air cooled model and is Red with Gold rims. I want to help him get rid of it and didn't know what to expect. Seems most places do not allow them anymore. I grew up on a 110!
...Just got off the phone with him and he said he would just take the best offer. I will post it in the Swap Meet.
