it does have a new cam and gaskets in and the timing is set right but i dont know? the cam cost $125 alone and i spent like $400 on it and it still have no power read the other post 'no power'

 

Which threewheeler are you talking about now??? are you talking about the one you just bought or the one you have been working on for a while?

 

OH MAN I JUST WAS THINKIN!!! hey the knocking noise you could be hearing could be your compression realease. I was messing with my compression release lever and i would hear a knocking noice then if i pulled on it too hard it would die so i be that, that could be your problem.

 

the three wheeler im talking about is the one i have been working on for awile. the noise i hear is like a grinding noise down in the bottom end. its not the starter or the camchain but i will check on the clutch side soon

 

its been awhile sense i last posted about this 200m. i took it apart and found the big gear on the flywheel and the clutch plate wear it catches broke off so they were getting caught in the flywheel which was making the noise so got another flywheel from cookster for free so that problem is fixed. im going to put new rings and all that in sometimes this winter. i was wrong it has a harley davidson exuast instead of cobra. other then those few things the motor runs great but the clutch slips so ill get that fixed to. sense i bought the 185 motor ill rebuild this one in the winter.
