Front sand tire on a 3-wheeler
Lawnboy... My wheeler is over twenty years old and has primarly only been ridden in the sand dunes. While you would think sand would be hard on them, it is not. In fact, I have never replaced my fork seals or had to repair/rebuild anything in the steering. The only berings I have replaced have been sealed berings and that is not because they necessarly need replacement, but because they were getting old and I was already reworking that area.

Trully spoken like someone who doesn't ride in the dunes. I agree with you, Faster250R. I live four miles from Little Sahara, and I have never had problems with anything wearing out faster than normal. Sure, you can get sand in the bearings if you don't use sealed bearings and crash a lot. Look at the 88 250R shown in my pics. It has been used in the dunes for over 90% of its life, and it's only been rebuilt once. In 2004. And it still had the stock pads and rotors on it, both of which had plenty of life left.
Back to the question at hand, I have always used Kenda Front Max tires, and they work great. It's just too difficult to find a sand tire for an ATC and to much of a hassle to change it when you want to ride trails. The Front Max is the best choice for me.

You are way out in left field on this one.
I started riding three wheelers fifteen years before you were even born.
Have you ever even been to the dunes?
The sand is not a problem, water, dirt, mud, rocks are all much worse.
The trikes that are all in the best condition are all dune only ridden.
Now salt water, that's a differant story.
Best wishes.

Give it a rest.
You have never ridden in the dunes.
You don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.
Someone told you something incorrect once and you are running with it.
You are just making yourself look silly.
Enough already.
