Just got this today, I traded a 1993 Mazda 929 with a blown motor for it. It runs great! Can anyone tell by the pics what year it is?

Maybe an 80. It looks like a 185. There should be a sticker on the frame up by the front forks that shows the year.

the 185S had the 1.5" suspension on the front forks.

I see 1980 185 or 1981-1982 200 Chassis and front fork there.
And the tank is from a 1983 ATC 185S.
The seat looks a bit funny to me. The only seat to have such a long front was on the later 200M, but it didn't protrude up the tank THAT far. Maybe an upholstery mod??

I couldn't tell from the pics what the left side handlebar switch looked like.... But if it also has the headlight switch intergrated into it, you have a 1982 ATC 200. If it doesn't then you have a 1980 ATC 185...or a 1981 ATC 200.

1982 was the last year for the rigid fork on anything larger than the 110 at the time, so it will most definately be one of those 3 models......considering the forks haven't been changed. If they have been changed, you could be dealing with several possible models then. HaHa!!

If you need further info, post the frame numbers and engine numbers here so that we can break them down and you will know what you have before ordering replacement parts.
Good luck with your new project

The 82 200 BigRed is what you are thinking of. It had the reverse and elevtric start. The regular 200 did not have either.
