Default Question on rim sizes

Get a set of rims from an 84 TRX200 quad. I can swap my rims back and forth between that and my 82 ATC200. As far as the tire goes, I had one with new tread but was so dry rotted it wouldn't hold air for more than 15 min. Even though it's a tubeless tire, I put a tube in and it holds well. I'm sure if anything were to work it's way through a crack the tube would be toast, but it works well for my wife to ride.

Default Question on rim sizes

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!

Whats wrong with the tires??? SLIME is an AWESOME tire sealent but it will not work on REALLY badly dry rotted tires. Or if its got a fairly large cut in them. Why would you wanna put 9 in rims on it for? If you buy the rims then you find tires for it wouldnt it be better just to get a set of tires and not have to worry about it???

thanks for ur input.. i see what u mean HONDAATCROX but i thought since i already have a set of 9 inh tires rims would either be cheaper or eiser to find.. i went to my local honda shop and the cheapest tires they have start at 80 bucks a peice.. oh and the tires on it are way past repair

Default Question on rim sizes

80 bucks a peice is a little pricey but not bad if they will mount the tire to the rim cause thats sorta a pain to do. Do you have a tractor supply company or super walmart around ya. Their tires are cheaper but they still are about 50 a peice. Well since you already have the nine inch rims and if they fit on your atc then you can buy tires for thoses also. So I would see which are cheaper which I would say the 8in would be cheaper and compare and go from there.
